Competitors and supporters often say the Mooseman Triathlon is the most scenic race in New England. Imagine a pristine lake, country roads, farmhouses and village greens. It’s even possible to view the odd moose. The race includes a 1.5K swim in pristine Newfound Lake. Average water temperatures are a chilly 62 F. The 44K bike is a scenic loop around spectacular Newfound Lake. The course is mainly on back roads with rolling hills and limited traffic. The 10K run is a scenic out and back course. Athletes who stay at The Glynn House grab a healthy breakfast starting at 5 am. Spectators will have great fun encouraging the participants.
