Spend five minutes with John Herman – you’ll appreciate the man is an awesome creative talent. The Glynn House intrigues John, he loves the details and the delightful ambiance our old Victorian home provides. Earlier this month, he agreed to shoot a video of the Inn.
Several days later, John arrived for a two-night stay. He [...]

Quality BBQ restaurants in central NH are far and few between. Yankee Smokehouse is a long drive from the Inn. We tried it last year and decided to make a return visit. The smokehouse and baby back ribs were as delicious as we remembered. The cool weather prompted us to avoid the picnic tables on [...]

One of our guests recommended Three Ponds Trail over the weekend. They told me the trail was relatively easy, quiet and scenic. They were right on all counts. Take Exit 26 west toward Rumney. At 3 miles you will come to a traffic circle. Stay to your right towards Rumney and Warren. Continue three more [...]

Four generations of one family stayed at the inn last weekend. Our part time ‘super’ housekeepers – Erica & Alyssa – are the youngest subjects in the photo. Their father and his partner Kelly, grandparents and great grandparents are also shown. We had great fun celebrating participating in four-generation family reunion.

We’ve finally discovered Gunstock’s Cobble Mountain Stables. They offer well-mannered horses, delightful mountain trails and spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Glynn House guests can book rides for one or two the inn. Advanced reservations are usually required.

Michael and Felicity spent their 2007 honeymoon at The Glynn House. They returned – from Dubai – for 15 days earlier this summer. Michael likes our delicious muffins. One morning, the product that came out of the oven was far smaller than normal. The next day, our valiant chefs prepared extra large muffins. Michael seems [...]

I’ve just received winter rates from Waterville Valley. Their prices are still extremely competitive compared to other quality mountains. Glynn House guests will receive even better deals – they’ll receive discounts of at least 25% off rack rates!
What’s Waterville really like? Imagine you’re standing at the top of the mountain. You’ll see little in the [...]

The Coe House reopened under new management two years ago. Last year, we recommended the restaurant to many of our guests. Without exceptional, the all provide glowing reports. After closing for the winter, the restaurant reopened with chef Jeff Day taking charge in the kitchen.
Recent guests really like the new menu. Their reports suggest [...]

Is it possible that anyone in Texas has never ridden a horse? Matty and her husband Dean live in Texas. Mattie had never been on a horse before heading to Mountain Side Trails earlier this week. The first horse she was given – four years old – was unwilling to obey a novice rider. The [...]
