Paddle the Pemi & Save 20%

Enjoy the scenic beauty of New Hampshire from a canoe, kayak or tube. Using Ski Fanatics “Paddle the Pemi” River Shuttle, you can take a leisurely 6 or 10-mile trip down the Pemigewasset River on easy Class I water. Another Class II water option is available for those with more experience. It’s a great way to spend a summer day. Rental prices, which were already reasonable, have been reduced 20% Sunday thru Friday for Glynn House guests.

Moose Tours

Twilight is a magic time! Early evening Moose excursions include  a half-hour file titled “Moose Close-Up” and a three-hour tour of the majestic White Mountains in an air-conditioned bus. The guided tour points out wildlife sightings as well as historical points of interest, including those along the Franconia Notch.

Pemi Valley Excursions Moose sightings success rate is 97%. Their record is spotting 25 moose in one night. Glynn House guests receive an 8% discount.

Squam Lakes Arts & Music Festival

The Black Bear Moon Music Ensemble will perform at the Squam Lakes Arts & Music Festival in Ashland, New Hampshire on July 11^th. Experience the rhythms and songs of West Africa! Highly dance-able, uplifting and dynamic performances are the hallmarks of this unique group of performers whose instruments include Djembe, African flute, dunun drumsand more.

Don’t Miss Diana Krall at Meadowbrook on Friday!

Krall – for the few still unknowing – is the 41-year old sensation whose cool, heavy-lidded vocals and strikingly sensitive piano-playing has helped her transcend barriers of genre to become a popular artist of the first order who has carved herself a permanent position at the top of the jazz charts. Diana Krall will perform at Meadowbrook on July 3^rd. This show will provide a spectacular start to the July 4^th holiday weekend. The Glynn House is a short drive from Meadowbrook.
